Q: What is the rod fee per day
A: Our current fee is $100 per day.

Q: Can I fish with my spinning rod and keep any fish?
A: We are strictly fly-fishing only, catch and release.

Q: What equipment do I need?
A: We recommend a 3.4 or 5 weight rod. Chest waders help reach all fishable water. Anglers should carry tippet material. 3X through 7X.

Q: What is the normal temperature?
A: Normally 42 to 64 degrees.

Q: Do you rent equipment?
A: We can arrange outfitting packages upon request. Please contact us for equipment specifications and rates.

Q: What flies should I use?
A: Seasonal hatches include Caddis, Green Drakes, Lights Hendricksons, Midges, Olive Duns, Tricos and Winter Stone Flies.
In warm months, we suggest hoppers, crickets, fireflys, beetles and ants. Wooly buggers and Zonkers and nymphs such as Hares Ears and Prince Nymphs are good choices as well.

Q: Where is Escatawba Farms?
A: Escatawba Farms is located in Alleghany County, Virginia,
five miles south of I-64, from Exit 10. We are near Hot Springs, Virginia and White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
